Spring in Full Bloom – Our First On-Farm Bouquet Bar

There’s nothing quite like the magic of fresh blooms and sunshine at Helena Hills Farm—and this spring, we got to experience that magic together with our very first on-farm Bouquet Bar!

What began as a dream of inviting our community into the gardens turned into a vibrant, joy-filled event surrounded by flowers, friends, and unforgettable memories. Guests arrived to tables filled with varieties of blooming beauties—roses, snapdragons, ranunculus, and more—ready to design their own hand-tied bouquets.

During the farm tour, guests wandered through the flower rows of seedlings that were growing in hopes to bloom by summer. They learned about the farm origin story as well as the various growing methods practiced in our flower garden. Under the shade of the wraparound porch, we helped guide arrangements while sharing stories, laughs, and homemade treats (including Mom’s famous apple bread, of course).

We also had a few surprise guests—our friendly chickens—who added their own charm to the day. The entire experience felt like stepping into a postcard of peace, creativity, and community.
