Peach Perfect: A Sweet Surprise on the Farm 🍑

Last summer, we harvested exactly one peach from our little peach tree. Just one! It was tiny and hard-won—but it sparked big dreams. This summer? The trees have exploded with fruit, and we’re just as surprised as we are delighted.
These aren’t just any peaches—they’re freestone peaches, which means the flesh easily separates from the pit (perfect for snacking, baking, and, well…eating them straight from the tree with juice dripping down your arm).
The Sweetest Kind of Snack
I might be biased, but these are hands-down the sweetest, juiciest peaches I’ve ever had. There’s something magical about plucking one fresh from the tree while you’re out weeding or watering. It’s nature’s perfect snack break.
Of course, we’re not the only ones enjoying them—the squirrels and birds are helping themselves too. And honestly? We don’t mind sharing. We always leave a few up high for our wildlife friends and invite you to come pick the rest.

Now Offering: Peach & Bloom U-Picks
We’ve opened up limited U-Pick sessions where you can harvest your own peaches and enjoy the first flush of summer flowers—zinnias, sunnies, and more. Come fill your basket with beauty and sweetness, and maybe even sneak a taste while you’re at it.
In the Kitchen
Mom’s been making peach jam like it’s her full-time job (and let me tell you—it’s incredible). From cobblers to crisps, there’s a peach treat in the works nearly every day. Want a jar of jam? Contact me directly to order or visit the farm during a workshop to explore our retail offerings.
A Peachy Future Ahead
We’ve got big dreams to expand the orchard one day and add even more peach trees to the landscape. That’s “future-future” though—for now, we’re focused on flowers first and letting the fruit surprise us along the way.
Fun Facts About South Carolina Peaches 🍑
South Carolina is the #2 peach-producing state in the U.S.—just behind California.
Many locals say SC peaches are sweeter thanks to the state’s hot days and cool nights.
Some varieties can’t be found anywhere else—making a visit to a local farm like Helena Hills a true taste of place.
Come join us to experience the sweetness of summer in the most delicious way. Whether you’re picking your own peaches, grabbing a jar of jam, or just stopping by to say hi—this little harvest has turned into a big joy, and we can’t wait to share it with you.
With peach-sticky fingers,
