About the event
Exclusively for the Bluffton Garden Club, join us at Helena Hills Farm for a relaxed morning of seed starting, flowers, and a little farm fun!
During this hands-on workshop, we’ll share how we start seeds for the cutting gardens at Helena Hills Farm and walk through the basics of successfully growing flowers from seed—from sowing and watering to light, hardening off, and transplanting into the garden.
Each guest will start a mini summer cutting garden featuring a selection of warm-season favorites such as zinnias, cosmos, celosia, and fragrant basil. You'll plant your own collection of starts to take home and nurture until they're ready for the garden.
We’ll also enjoy a mini tour of Helena Hills Farm to see what’s growing and get a behind-the-scenes peek at how we prepare the farm for the spring and summer flower season.

This is a private workshop. Advance registration is required, and space is limited.

One Cyanotype Workshop
Guided instruction throughout the workshop, (1) 8" × 11" botanical cyanotype fabric print, fresh flowers and foliage harvested from the farm, all materials and supplies, light treats and beverages, and a relaxing morning of creativity with time to explore the gardens and farm.
