About the event

Grow With Confidence: Spring Seed Starting Workshop

There’s something magical about watching a tiny seed become something you can harvest, cut, or cook with. This spring, join us at Helena Hills Farm for a hands-on Seed Starting Workshop designed to give you the skills (and confidence!) to grow successfully at home.

In this guided workshop, you’ll learn:

• How to properly start seeds indoors

• The difference between direct sowing and transplanting

• Soil, moisture, and light requirements for strong seedlings

• Common mistakes to avoid

• When and how to transition seedlings outdoors

Each guest will plant their own 8-cell seed tray with a curated mix of:

🍅 Cherry Tomatoes

🌿 Basil

🌸 Seasonal cut flowers

You’ll leave with your planted tray, plant markers, growing instructions, and the knowledge to continue the process all season long.

This workshop is perfect for:

  • First-time gardeners

  • Flower lovers wanting to grow their own bouquets

  • Anyone who has struggled with leggy seedlings before

  • Friends looking for a creative, educational outing

Whether you have a backyard, raised beds, or just a sunny patio — this class will help you grow with intention.

Light refreshments will be provided.

Space is limited to keep the experience intimate and hands-on.

Let’s plant the seeds of something beautiful 🌱
